Ask the customer what their device’s brand and model is and use the information gathered from the ticket describing their problem to find the right part.
Kindly inform the customer that we do not (under normal circumstances) work on devices that are currently under warranty, as it would void said warranty.
Ask the customer where it came from, and have them turn it in to verify the quality. If there is something wrong, notify the customer and provide where to order a new one if necessary.
Alert the customer of the newfound issue, and ask them if they would like it repaired as well. If yes, send them where to get the new part for the replacement.
